Non amo parlare o scrivere sulla mia musica. Sono sempre stato convinto che i suoni non hanno bisogno di parole per essere compresi, anzi a volte la parola con i propri limiti è inadatta a descrivere il fenomeno musicale, specialmente quando vi è assenza di costruzione formale predisposta e avvertibile dall’ascoltatore. Si prendano quindi le composizioni comprese in questo CD come sonorità erranti, create e assemblate dal compositore con ratio intuitiva e metodologia improvvisativa, attraverso una poetica informale, dove il risultato finale è una scelta fra molte, decisa dal compositore con atto cosciente ed estemporaneo. L’arco temporale delle composizioni non presenta evoluzione o percorso, ma unisce diverse esperienze musicali dove ognuna di esse esprime la sensibilità del momento in cui è stata realizzata.
I don’t like to write or to speak of my music because I consider the musical composition as a world without need of words around. For the music without prefixed construction or without a clear Gestalt as it is my music indeed, the program notes or other explanations to describe the phenomena are completely useless. So in this compilation the listener doesn’t find compositions with an historical construction but finds sound evocations, created by the composer without academic dryness and formalism, where the final result has been a choice among many solutions decided in an extemporary and conscious way. Moreover the compilation in this CD is not an artistic walk, in this case the compositions are different musical experiencestt each of them represents a specific and artistic moment of my work.
